Katy Hearne is an Oxford based artist and designer.

Following from an early focus on figurative portraiture in my work, in late 2024 and 2025 I began working on a series of small landscape works on paper. These explore themes of seeking the sublime, of isolation, solace, and of spaces, uninhabited.

A few years ago I moved from London to Oxford and am now studying towards a PhD in Archaeology (Katherine Hearne - More on that here!), where I currently act as Arts and Culture Officer for Merton College.

From 2015 - 2019 I helped to manage the contemporary art gallery Knight Webb Gallery, London.

I’ve also designed many album covers, some of which are listed here.

I’ve exhibited in a handful of group shows, including in the 2015 exhibition ‘Magic and Rituals’ at Treadwell's in London.
